I sensed something was amiss with Amy and suspected Antonella’s hand in it. To my shame, I deployed the latest Russian military-grade trackers on both women’s cars, a tactic I had also used on Victor’s Porsche. I reclined on our sumptuous bed for three in my son and daughter-in-law’s opulent Florentine home, my eyes glued to the tiny pin markers for cars moving in and out of the city on the map on my phone screen.
My son and daughter had previously converged on Antonella’s country home - sparking my suspicion. I stared at Peter, who was working hard, getting a sweat on.
