What a lovely way to start my day. All is well in the ocean of love. Thank you, Kate. One and done. Growing up in California back in the 50s and 60s the beach and ocean were a big part of my life.
Hi Bill, thank you. I love the seaside too, even if in this case it was just for a meeting. I have always wanted to go to California, partly because it is where mountain biking was born
Mountain biking was not around when I was growing up out there. I did belong to a car club which I loved. In school, I was on the track team and did weight lifting, football, and wrestling. I also took up scuba diving. But mostly I chased after the ladies. The car club went to the mountains, beach, desert, drag races, movies, all over. Friday and Saturday night, at Bobs' Big Boy in the valley, we saw some of the most beautiful hot rods ever made. Fun times for me.
Hi Bill, thank you. Your youth sounds like something out of the movie Grease - I love it. I’ve scuba dived for a few years now, and I hope to go to Komodo in Indonesia to see the Manta Rays or perhaps Sipadan Island (Sabah) which is reputed to be the world’s best diving. As for drag races… I’d love to see one but I’m not the world’s greatest driver (or Mountain Biker)
Hi Bill. Thank you. I haven’t cycled for ages, even though my bike arrived here. I must get out. I’m going to a break out jail room tomorrow with friends. I’ve never done one. You get locked into a mystery room and have to solve a mystery to find a key to escape. You’d be great at it as a former detective… in fact, If I have problems I might DM you.😂
Very nice - and I can think of far worse places to have a meeting!
Thank you, Mike. Hong Kong is bigger than I remember it. Lots of beaches and jungle
What a delightful tale. It was a good morning story to wake up with and HEA ending. Thanks Kate, you never disappoint!
Thank you, Chester. I didn’t have much time and was inspired by the beach.
I loved it Kate. Are your mind and fingers never idle? (From typing I mean 😂)
Hi John, thank you. I like to contemplate often, but writing stories is quite therapeutic and escapist.
A bit of drama cannot hurt!
Thank you so much, partner. I hope you are well.
This was a wonderful love story! Thank You! XO
Thank you too, David. Who doesn’t love a happy ever after between a lovely guy and his beloved mermaid, right?

As long as you watch out for jumping trees.😉😉😂 As for movies, more American Graffiti.

Cop, made Sgt., not detective. My blood pressure climbed to new heights as the arrested lied blatantly. I couldn't stand it.
