Hi Martin. I was an expedition leader and went to Himalayas (I wrote about the trek in a story called Williams Hope but from a male rather than my POV) I climbed Island Peak, Gokyo Ri and visited Everest Base. I’m more of a trekker/scrambler but I can freeclimb although don’t really love it. I like Top roping though because it’s safe. I remember you saying about being an MP - you must have climbed as well?
I did Kate. I started my career as a boy soldier at the age of 16, and climbing was part of the training. I’m seriously impressed with your achievements.
😂 I have a lot of hobbies and some great friends. I remember climbing in Snowdon and the army were there. They had a camp nearby. They were really well equipped and let us have a go on a top rope/abseil they set up
