I dismounted the bike, feeling exhausted but invigorated—a physical ambiguity caused by aching muscles while my head buzzed excitedly, fueled by endorphins. The happy sensations engulfing me immediately after high-impact exercise were hard to describe, mainly existing in a nebulous world of body chemistry where hormones ruled.
It had been too long since I was challenged aside from childbirth.
I wrapped my arms around my husband’s neck, combining his extreme sweat with my light perspiration, enjoying the heat from his body and the extreme tension with electric energy in his rippling muscles.
I squeezed a bicep while staring deep into Victor’s eyes.
“Fuck… you are a gorgeous hunk of man.”
“You’ll get soaking wet from my skin. I sweat so much more than you do, Amy.”
“Parts of me are wetter than others.”
