I finally told Hannah that I love her after ten agonizing days.
Well, I fell in love with her five days ago, so…
You’re splitting hairs again, Scott.
I had just seen Hannah to the lobby inside her apartment building, where, while waiting for an elevator, she kissed me for the second time. And boy, it was an incredible, toe-curler of a kiss. Her lips reached deeply into me, her tongue baptizing me with her soul and essence.
Her kiss lingered on my lips and in my heart as I strolled along an almost empty sidewalk on a quiet street, with only the background hum of a sleeping city as my witness. I whistled merrily, but badly, and it didn’t matter at all.
