These two seem to be two sides of the same coin, Caleb finding very old queens under the sand in Egypt and Nadia finding paintings by queens, a very nice twist.

I remember “The City of Aten” which was about looking for antiquities but in this version you have placed two very hot characters together and sparks will fly. Will they stay together at the end of the week or return to their spouses?

Your description of their sexual connection in the first class on the plane was scintillating thank you 🥵🥵🥵💖💖🌹

❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️Hi Trevor. Thank you for your lovely comment

I love that you noticed the parallel. Caleb is uncovering queens beneath the sand, while Nadia is finding them in paint and memory. Two different paths, but both of them are being drawn toward powerful women who shaped history.

And yes, this began with the bones of The City of Aten, but it has become something much hotter and more intimate. Whether they stay together or return to their spouses is the question sitting beneath everything now.

I enjoyed “The City of Aten” but this is in a totally different class🌹

I was feeling bad for Caleb. I really felt like Lara was being very selfish and spiteful. What was happening with Marcus and Lara seems to have an expiration date. A relationship based just on great sex. Now it feels like Caleb is lucky to have escaped the unachievable expectations from Lara. I can not imagine a world where they ever Swap back. I can see a world where Caleb never has to swap again.

❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️Hi Jimmy. Thank you for your lovely comment

I think you’ve read Caleb very clearly here. He isn’t simply losing something now; he may be discovering that the thing he thought he had to fight for was never quite giving him what he needed.

Lara and Marcus have something powerful, but biology burns hot and fast. Caleb and Nadia may be building something quieter, steadier, and far harder to undo.

Caleb is finding Queens left and right, lol! He has a knack, apparently.

❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️Hi Jeff. Thank you for your lovely comment

Caleb does seem to have a gift for finding queens, doesn’t he? Some buried in the sand, some standing right in front of him.

It is interesting how a relationship described from the outside can look so dlifferent to what it is from the inside. You switching POVs in your stories has always been a fascinating exercice that shows us how misleading the narrative can be when only one person’s perspective is taken into consideration.

In real life, switching POVs is quite impossible, though so important to try !

❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️Hi, Zephyr. Thank you for your lovely comment

Yes, that is one of the things I love most about switching POVs. From the outside, a relationship can look simple, settled, or even obvious. From the inside, it is often full of private weather, old wounds, unspoken needs, and small truths nobody else can see.

And you are absolutely right. In real life, we can never fully switch POVs, but trying to do it with kindness is probably one of the most important things we can offer each other.

As others have said, Caleb and Nadia are good people and make me feel satisfied that there is someone for everyone. Having read the other side of the swap, I was a little disillusioned with how that arrangement seemed to be going. Lara opinionated and selfish, with Marcus scheming and dishonest. Don’t think the latter couple will last really.

❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️Hi David. Thank you for your lovely comment

I’m glad Caleb and Nadia are landing that way for you. They are good people, and I think that matters, especially when the story is asking them to step into something complicated and emotionally risky.

Lara and Marcus have their own heat and momentum, which is based in biology, but biology doesn’t show up every day, in every challenge for the rest of your life and its’s not the same thing as trust. That difference is becoming harder to ignore between the couples.

Tis good. The feeling that Caleb and Nadia may be finding something they both need. A leader and a partner, following but sharing. Thank you, Kate.

Tuesday approached. The number slowly gets smaller. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️Hi Bill. Thank you for your lovely comment

Yes, that feeling between Caleb and Nadia matters a lot. They are finding not just attraction, but a rhythm — leadership, trust, following, sharing, and the sense that both of them may finally have found something they didn’t know how to ask for. It might be because they both know what a wrong version of their lives looks like, so they embrace a difference.

Wednesday is almost over. The number does keep getting smaller, and the desire to chase it diminishes😂
